Stone Dust, Marshfield

Stone Dust in Marshfield

Stone dust is a by-product of crushing stone for other purposes.

In recent years it has been regarded as a cost effective replacement for sand.

It’s ideally suited for use in patios, as it can reduce damage to the patio’s surface as it forms a strong, non-porous surface while also deterring weeds and grass growing up between the pavers.

Another possible use of the material is as pipe bedding along with other construction based projects.

Comparing cost can be a deciding factor when choosing between sand or using stone dust, as it can provide additional functionality at a fraction of the cost.

Another factor to consider it the coloration of the stone, as the dust can come in a variety of colours to suit any project.

Greens Recycling sells a high-quality stone dust product at a costing from £8 per tonne plus VAT

Alternatively we can bag the material; this is sold at a costing from £20 per yard bag plus VAT

Delivery can be arranged and prices will depend on the location.
